The annual St. Michael’s Fair in Tullytown is opening Tuesday evening.

The 64-year tradition at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church property along the Levittown Parkway opens its gates nightly at 6 p.m. and runs until Sunday, July 8. Admission is free and tickets for rides will be on sale at the fair.

The fair will include numerous rides set up over the past few days by the crews from Reithoffer Shows. From thrilling rides like the Sizzler to the more tame attractions like bumper cars, the fair is geared to both children and adults. In addition, food vendors and game tents will be set up.

One regular feature at the Levittown tradition is the massive Dutch Wheel that is programed with a dazzling LED display.

Security has been stepped up at the fair since a large fight in 2016 that ended with people being stabbed and several others assaulted.
