May 24

Assault

A 40-year-old woman was arrested at Robbins Avenue and East Lincoln Highway for assault. Officers were called for a fight in progress and a witness said he say the woman strike the victim multiple times in the head with her purse. The purse was filled and was heavy.

May 26

Arrest

While performing building checks on businesses in the overnight hours of May 26, a 48-year-old man was found sleeping behind an abandoned building in the Penndel Shopping Center. An ID check of the subject found an active Bucks County Warrant. Dorsey was arrested and sheriff’s deputies were notified.

May 27

Assault

A 23-year-old man was fighting with his girlfriend while driving on Woodland Avenue. A third person intervened in the domestic dispute and then was struck multiple times in the face by the 23 year old. The victim suffered injuries to their left hand and will require doctors visits. The 23-year-old man also had another warrant out for him.

June 4

Arrest

A 33-year-old man came to the Penndel Borough Police Station with his 33-year-old girlfriend to report that his tires had been slashed. Upon filling out routine paperwork, it was found that both had an active warrant for criminal trespass from Falls Township police. The two were then arrested on the warrant and then transported to Falls Township.

June 6

Criminal Mischief

A resident in the area of Julie Lane and Clarissa Avenue noticed that her window and multiple location on her siding had been broken with what appeared to be a BB. It was unknown when the incident occurred and the resident stated that last time she saw the window intact was around two weeks ago.

June 7

Found Drugs

Police were requested to Noeland Avenue for found drugs. Someone had found a black baggie with a white powder inside during the overnight hours and left it on the supervisor’s desk for the police. The baggie was taken into evidence.

June 8

Domestic

Officers on patrol in the area of the Penndel Shopping Center came across a domestic dispute between a brother and sister. Upon interviewing the parties, a bag of suspected marijuana and paraphernalia was found in the purse of a 24-year-old woman.

June 17

DUI

Officers were called to the intersection of Hulmeville Avenue and West Lincoln Highway for the report of a minor fender bender. Upon arrival, it was discovered the 25-year-old man appeared to be under the influence of a alcoholic substance that impaired his ability to operate a motor vehicle. The man was unable to complete field sobriety testing and was arrested for DUI. He was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center for a blood draw.
