
A number of residents in the Goldenridge neighborhood in Levittown have been victim of a spike in thefts from vehicles recently.
The bulk of the thefts have taken place in the early morning hours, mainly between 1 a.m. andย 5 a.m., and between last Monday and Wednesday, Bristol Township police said in statement.
The thief or thieves have been targeting primarily unlocked vehicles and most often took loose change, wallets, credit cards, and electronic items, police said.
“Please remove valuables from sightย and lock your vehicle,” the police statement said.
Extra patrols have been directed for the Goldenridge neighborhood and residents are asked to call 9-1-1 if they spot anything suspicious.
Below are some of the streets that have been targeted:
- Great Oak Road
- Greenbriar Road
- Granite Road
- Gamewood Road
Police are also asking any residents with a home surveillance system or Ring Doorbell or similar equipment to check over their footage.
