A wild police chase that started in Trenton made its way through Lower Bucks County late Tuesday night.
The chase made its way across to Pennsylvania back to Trenton and the Route 1 and Route 13 work zone in Morrisville Borough and Falls Township before getting off the highway and heading on side roads in the township, according to accounts from people who witnessed portions of the incident.

Falls Township police were not immediately available for comment Wednesday. However, a source confirmed the car being chased came out of Trenton and wrecked in Falls Township, which was backed up by a report in the Trentonian.
The newspaper reported Darshitkumar Patel, 40, was behind the wheel during the case that started after a shooting in Trenton, which he does not appear to be connected to at this time. Patel reportedly threw heroin out his vehicle window and nearly took out construction workers along the Route 1 and Route 13 safety improvement project.
Morrisville police Chief George McClay told the Trentonian Patel was speeding, turned his headlights off at points, struck a police car, and tried to avoid arrest after plowing into a truck in Falls Township. An officer suffered a shoulder injury and Patel was injured.

Patel was charged in Bucks County with charges of aggravated assault, fleeing or attempting to elude police, simple assault, reckless endangerment, and related offenses.
The 40 year old was arraigned early Wednesday morning before District Judge Jan Vislosky and held on 10 percent of $975,000 bail.
