Joseph Williams was arraigned mid-morning before District Judge Leonard Brown on charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, firearms not to be carried without a license, discharge of a firearm in an occupied structure, possession of an instrument of crime, and reckless endangerment.

According to authorities, Williams was outside of a home in the 900 block of Elmhurst Avenue in Bristol Township around 7 p.m. Friday when a gray Chrysler 300 pulled up and a group of men got out.

Jahmier Wilson, also known as Man Montana, motioned for Williams. The two began to argue, police paperwork says.

Williams pulled out a handgun, pointed it at one of the men, and opened fire when the men went to flee, police said.

Two men outside of the home were struck by gunfire and pronounced dead at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia.

It was not immediately clear if the two men who were killed were struck by bullets fired by Williams or if there was another shooter.

At least two of the bullets struck the side of the house and kitchen of a home in the 900 block of Elmhurst Avenue, which had five people, including a 3 year old, inside. No one inside the home was seriously hurt.

Three men, including Williams, were spotted running from the scene of the shooting on Weston Avenue, police said.

Williams was thrust into the national spotlight in 2013 when his mother alleged that Tullytown police assaulted him after a traffic stop relating to a retail theft from Walmart. The FBI and county cleared Tullytown officers of wrongdoing in the incident. Authorities said at the time that the then-14-year-old was Tasered by police trying to catch up to him as the handcuffed boy ran toward the busy lanes of travel on Route 13.

Williams was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in Doylestown Saturday morning after he was unable to post 10 percent of $750,000 bail.
