Kelley Pipe Corporation, a master distributor of carbon steel pipe, will be expanding their operations in Falls Township.
The business, which has been around since 1898, currently operates its Eastern distribution center on 600 Middle Drive in Morrisville, and its sales branch on 301 South State Street in Newtown. They received preliminary and final land development approval in mid-April to consolidate both operations into one new facility at 95 Towpath Road in Falls Township.

According to a representative for Kelley Pipe, the new building will be more efficient, include both sales and warehouse operations, and serve the eastern seaboard from Washington D.C. to Maine.
As part of their preliminary and final land development approval, Kelley Pipe requested five waivers, including: a waiver from a traffic study, a partial waiver for curbs, a waiver for a reduced setback from the building and the curb, a waiver from placing shade trees, and a waiver of certain lighting requirements.
Falls Township officials noted the request waivers are standard ones for buildings in that area.
