Neshaminy High School senior Catie Turner made the cut.

The 18-year-old Middletown resident is in the Top 7 on “American Idol.”
Turner’s performance of “Once Upon a Dream” from the classic Disney film “Sleeping Beauty” was enough to put her to the next round on the competition reality series.
In a case of corporate synergy, Disney-owned network ABC themed Sunday evening’s episode of “American Idol” after the iconic brand. Turner and the other Top 10 finalists performed Disney classics. They also had the chance this week to visit Disneyland in California and work with singer and actress Idina Menzel.

A video played before Turner’s performance showed her and her mom enjoying the Disney amusement park before being mentored by Menzel.
“I still freak out about them because I want to be a princess,” Turner said before meeting the amusement park princess characters.

Tuner was all business when it came to her performance that was aired live coast-to-coast.
Dressed in a princess-like dress that dazzled under the stage lights, Turner came onto the stage and belted out the tune from “Sleeping Beauty.”
The celebrity judges were impressed by the performance and gave Turner rave reviews.

“You’ve just taken us on a magical, magical journey,” Lionel Richie told Turner. “Looking at you, you’re positively clear that dreams do come true.”
Katy Perry said she saw Turner evolve with the performance.

“I hope America truly appreciates what all these contestants are doing and how you just sing from this part of your soul … it’s so inspiring,” Luke Bryant told Turner.
The audience only had about 10 minutes to vote for Turner before the ballots were tallied and three contestants were cut from the show.

In the end, Turner’s performance was enough to earn America’s support.
