The mission of the program is to plant 1 million trees in Pennsylvania. So far, Middletown has planted more than 300 trees. The most recent of these trees were planted in November 2017 at Detective Christopher Jones Memorial Park, explained Paul Kopera, the director of the parks and recreations department in Middletown
Volunteers are asked to bring their own shovels and meet at Cobalt Drive South and Cloister Road.
