Police Investigate Incident Following Report Of Gunfire

Bristol Township police were called to the area of Ford Road near the Levittown Trace Apartments for the report of gunfire Thursday night.

Dispatchers requested police to the area, according to scanner traffic, and neighbors said they spotted police officers looking around and speaking with at least one man around 9:45 p.m. Thursday.

There was no word on if any shots were fired or whether anyone was struck.

A police official said there was an incident under investigation. They added that there was no threat to the public, but said they were unable to release further information.

As of Friday afternoon, no arrests related to the incident had been logged in district court.
