Special Yard Waste Collection Day Scheduled For Bristol Twp.

A special waste collection day will be held in Bristol Township after recent coastal storms.

The township announced that the yard waste and tree branch collection day will be held Saturday, March 24.ย  Crews from Waste Management, the township’s waste hauler, will collect the debris.

“The recent storms hit Bristol Township hard leaving large branches strewn in yards and streets,” Deputy Township Managerย Scott Swichar said.

The special collection day will impose no additional cost to residents.

Tree limbs and branches should be cut into 4-foot sections and tired and bundled when possible.

Yard waste and tree branches should be placed curbside by 6 a.m. to ensure collection, saidย Swichar.

โ€œTrash, construction and demolition debrisย will not be collected,” said Swichar.
