FBI Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Man On Child Pornography Charges

A man is in trouble after an FBI investigation allegedly revealed some disturbing content stored on his cell phone and other digital storage devices in his possession.

Timothy Friel, 37, Penndel, was indicted by federal authorities forย receiving child pornography and distribution of child pornography.

Special agents from the FBI executed a search warrant last Tuesday at Friel’s Durham Road apartment as part of a child pornography investigation. The special agents foundย a number of electronics and digital storage media devices that contained images and videos of child pornography,ย according to an indictment obtained by LevittownNow.com.

Evidence recovered from the home included four 64 gigabyte thumb drives with photos and videos of alleged child pornography on them. Friel’s phone also contained several pornographic videos he had screen captured from a video streaming service, the indictment stated.

Penndel police were called to Friel’s apartment to assist the FBI.
