Flood Watch Issued As 2 To 3 Inches Of Rain Forecasted

A Flood Watch was issued for Lower Bucks County due to 2 to 3 inches of rain forecasted to fall.

The National Weather Service said the rain that started Saturday afternoon will continue through much of Sunday. There will be periods of heavy rain at times Saturday night into Sunday afternoon. The heaviest rain will fall along the I-95 corridor during the storm, forecasters said.

The rain from the storm could cause flooding in low-lying areas. There could be some flooding on area streams, creeks and rivers.

Bristol Borough authorities warned that people should move their vehicles in the low-lying Mill Street Parking Lot should park on higher ground due to the threat of possible flooding.
