
A male pedestrian was badly hurt Thursday evening when a car struck him.
Bristol Township police said the 58-year-old man was walking northbound across Ellwood Avenue in the area of Norton Avenue when he was struck. Officers arrived to find the man unresponsive.

The driver of the 1999 Nissan Altima that hit the man was traveling westbound when the incident happened. The driver was not hurt and has been cooperating with investigators, police said.
Authorities said the pedestrian was walking outside of the designated crosswalk when he was struck.
The man was taken to Aria-Jefferson Health’s Torresdale campus in Philadelphia. He was last known to be listed in stable condition.
