
Dozens of Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School fifth-graders took to the gridiron for Super Duper Bowl 8 Friday afternoon.
The students at the Falls Township elementary school faced off in the name of character building and charity.

The teams were each led by teachers and featured cheering sections and a DJ. The teams were: the Melnick Mashers, the Toledano Tornadoes, Miller’s Mean Machine, and the Kean Kongs.
Students took part in a pep rally before the game and collected canned food leading up to the Super Duper Bowl.
The kids played despite cold temperatures and gusty winds. A good-sized group of parents and neighbors attended the event.
