Montgomery County dispatchers said the crash happened at 9:42 a.m. as snow fell.

The vehicle and the final train car collided on the tracks on Red Lion Road, which features a large hill that is intersected by the tracks.  The vehicle had two people inside and is believed to have slid into the train, according to SEPTA spokesperson Andrew Busch.

The train had already stopped at the Woodbourne and Langhorne stations before heading toward Philadelphia.

The 50 passengers and three SEPTA crew members on the train were unhurt and shuttle buses were called in.
