UPDATED: 3:37 p.m., Thursday:

Police said 32-year-old Nicholas Napoli is in standoff and wanted by  U.S. Marshal Service.

He was convicted in 2006 of assault and in September stopped reporting to his probation agent. He was last known to have lived in the 2100 block of Dixon Avenue in Bristol Township’s Croydon section.

Law enforcement has been searching for him recently.

Police said all neighbors were evacuated from the standoff scene.

Police from numerous municipalities descended upon Pond Street in Bristol Borough Thursday afternoon.

SWAT operators and patrol officers appeared to concentrate on a home on Pond Street near the Rite Aid.

Roads in the area were closed as of 2:45 p.m.

A police source said evacuations were happening along Pond Street.

All the borough schools were locked down.
