That’s the message a police negotiator was broadcasting at the home at 491 Pond Street in Bristol Borough where 32-year-old Nicholas Napoli, a Croydon resident and fugitive, was holed up with his girlfriend Thursday.
By 7 p.m., police loudspeaker messages that were coming from an armored Bearcat indicated that the wanted Napoli had not made contact with them. However, the negotiator repeated they knew someone was inside because a light was on as the sun set.

It was not stated whether Napoli was armed inside the home, but there was an initial worry weapons were present.
Police said Napoli was a “person of interest” in a fatal hit-and-run crash along State Road in Bristol Township’s Croydon section earlier this week. They backed off media reports that indicated he was a suspect in that case.

Napoli was convicted in 2006 of assault and in September stopped reporting to his probation agent. He was last known to have lived in the 2100 block of Dixon Avenue in Bristol Township’s Croydon section. All this week, police and the U.S. Marshal Service have been hunting for him along with a friend who also skipped out on state parole.
Langhorne police Chief John Godzieba, who acted as a spokesman for Bristol Borough police, said officers were looking for Napoli when they attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Jared Aichele, 34, of Bristol Township. He was taken into custody and it was quickly determined Naploi was in the home.

Henry said officers were able to determine that Napoli had barricaded the door to the home with a sofa. He also did not comply with numerous requests by police to come out.

To try to speak with Napoli, police used the Bearcat loudspeakers and also left a phone to try to communicate with the 32 year old.
SWAT operators from numerous Lower Bucks County police departments were on the scene from late afternoon into the nighttime hours. They blocked off numerous streets around the scene.
