
Bristol Township police are seeking the public’s help to find the suspect involved in a fatal Monday morning crash.
Bristol Township police were dispatched shortly after 7 a.m. for reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle, according to a release put out by the police. Initial callers told police that the car was in a ditch in the area of the 2900 block of State Road and that the vehicle had hit a person.

The pedestrian was a 46-year-old man. He was transported to the Aria Torresdale Hospital, but later succumbed to injuries he sustained being hit by the car, released information said. Police are waiting to release more information about the victim until his family is notified.
A Bensalem police K-9 unit assisted in searching for the suspect between State and River roads. Police information stated the suspect fled into the swamp and was not found.
According to police, investigators do not believe that the driver of the car was the owner of the car. The vehicle, a 2000 white Ford Focus comes from the Pine Needle Road in the Plumbridge section of Levittown.
