
A string of business burglaries in Lower Bucks County were under investigation Tuesday.
Police in Middletown, Penndel and Newtown Township reported overnight burglaries that hit businesses, mainly eateries.

Investigators said they were looking to see if the six incidents were connected.
Tre Fratelli and Manny Brown’s in the Summit Trace Shopping Center were both entered early Tuesday morning and cash was stolen. Manny Brown’s was forcibly entered through the front door and Tre Fratelli through the back door, Middletown police Lt. Steve Forman said.
Acting Penndel Chief of Police Sean Perry said one store was burglarized and another had an attempted burglary. Both were located in the 300 block of West Lincoln Highway.

Newtown Township police said a suspect entered Marco’s Pizza and Primo Hoagies on South Eagle Road early Tuesday morning and stole cash. The suspect, who concealed their identity, used a crowbar to smash out the window of the pizza shop.
Forman said Middletown detectives will compare notes with other agencies and continue seeking evidence.
