UPDATE: Bus Driver Takes Blame For Crash

UPDATED: 2:31 p.m., Thursday: 

Police said the bus driver took responsibility for pulling out in front of a sedan.

Two special needs kids were on the bus and suffered no injuries. The bus driver did complain of pain and was taken to the hospital, police said.

The elderly couple in the struck sedan were taken to the hospital after they complained of pain, police said.

A Bristol Township School District bus was involved in a wreck Wednesday morning.

The crash happened along Levittown Parkway in the area of Magnolia Drive around 8 a.m. in Bristol Township.

Bystanders said there did not appear to be any serious injuries and they were unclear if students were on the bus at the time of the crash.

A silver sedan appeared to be involved in the crash and had front-end damage, as did the bus.

Fire police blocked the road for a short time while the wreck was cleared.
