A 10-year-old girl got off a school bus and was walking home. At that time, a silver car pulled up alongside her and she began to walk faster as the vehicle kept pace. The girl began running and the vehicle continued on Glenrose Avenue, police said.

The girl told officers a man in his mid-20s and with an Indian accent said, “get in the car.” The man also reportedly winked as he took of his sunglasses.

The stocky man had a tattoo on his left bicep, straight and light-colored brown hair and greenish eyes. He was wearing a red shirt with “Pride” printed on it, police said.

The man was described as driving a newer four-door sedan, similar to a Honda Civic. The vehicle reportedly had a white sticker with black writing on the lower-left corner of the rear window.

A car, according to police, that is similar to the type reported.

Police asked residents in the area to review footage from between 3 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. on street-facing video system.
