Croydon Neighbors Haunted Attraction Set To Scare

Visitors are invited to Bristol Township’s Croydon section for a dizzying display of Halloween scares and mischief.

The neighbors at 505 and 507 Girard Avenue have teamed up to create an “all-expense paid vacation to infernal damnation” that will be manned by 40 ghouls. This year, Lucifer will be making an appearance for those who dare to check out the display.

There’s also something a little less scary happening at the homes.

“Does a night spent avoiding the devil and a mad scientist who is always looking for specimens make you tense? We got you covered. Relax during an old-fashion story hour that features Little Red Riding Hood. Except in this version, the red stands for blood,” the neighbors said.

The event is free for all to attend and will run from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. on Halloween. However, the organizers do accept contributions to help offset their costs.

Last year, Colleen Prendergast, her neighbors and their families talked to LevittownNow.com about the weeks-long construction of the haunted display in the front yards.

โ€œThe truth is we love our community, and we strive to provide the best haunted experience of the season,โ€ they said last year.

“Visitors say the secret of our success are cutting edge effects and attention to detail that provides the experience of walking through the set of a horror movie,” the neighbors stated in a release.

The big question being asked on Girard Avenue this year: are a few pieces of candy worth your sanity?
