Although the overcast hung overhead, the rain held off for the most part and more than a thousand people took to the streets of historic Fallsington to celebrate history and look towards the future.
Jim and Heather McGurrin have lived in the historic section of Falls Township for 14 years. In that time, they have rarely, if ever, missed Historic Fallsington Day.

“It’s a good place to run into people that you don’t see regularly,” Jim McGurrin said.
In addition to the good food and running into people they might not have seen in a long time, the day is a good chance for the kids, who were off on their own, to get some independence safely, Jimย McGurrin said.
“There is so much historic stuff here, too,” Heatherย McGurrin said.
