A Levittown man has been charged after he allegedly assaulted a man and later resisted arrest.
According to court papers filed by Middletown police, a resident at the Country Manor Apartments said he heard pounding at his door and a man shoved his way into the apartment once the door was opened around 12:20 a.m. Sunday. Upon entry, the suspect choked the resident and said, “I’m going to kill you!.”

The resident said he yelled for his roommate to call 9-1-1 before escaping the grip of the suspect. The resident grabbed his phone and ran away, according to police.
The suspect, police said, fled the apartment complex in a pickup truck.
The resident reportedly said he knew the suspect – identified as Mark Brian Graser – because he has previously made repairs to his vehicle.

Officers responded to Graser’s home in Middletown’s Levittown section and took him into custody. Police said he resisted arrest and did not cooperate as they placed handcuffs on him and moved him to a waiting patrol car.
Graser was charged with burglary, terroristic threats, simple assault and resisting arrest. He was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility following arraignment and released Wednesday after posting $1,000 cash bail.
