A 72-year-old Middletown man is accused of indecently assaulting an 8-year-old girl he knew.
Lester F. Stressman was arrested for indecent assault on a person under the age of 13, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned Wednesday evening by on-call District Judge Robert Wagner and sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $200,000 bail.

The 8-year-old girl talked with police earlier this month and said that Stressman, who was known as “Bud,” touched her inappropriately and sexually four times this summer. One of the incidents happened at Stressman’s home on Prospect Avenue in the Parkland section and the three others happened at the girl’s home, according to court papers.
Stressman downplayed some of the claims when speaking with police but admitted to inappropriate behavior with the girl, including explaining to her what an erection was, police said.
