
A man was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle along West Lincoln Highway Tuesday evening.
The crash happened around 8:45 p.m. outside the 7-Eleven gas station near the intersection of West Lincoln Highway and Neshaminy Street.

Penndel Fire Company Chief Chuck Fox said his crews were assisting police and that medics had taken a man who was possibly on a bicycle from the scene in serious condition.

An ambulance from the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad rushed away from the scene and toward St. Mary Medical Center around 9 p.m.
Traffic was blocked in the area of the crash and officers were looking at the striking vehicle, which had stopped right off West Lincoln Highway on Hulmeville Road.

A distraught man in a suit sat outside the 7-Eleven and was speaking with bystanders.
Police from Middletown, Langhorne Borough and Hulmeville were assisting Penndel officers at the scene.
