Firefighters from around the county remained at the fire overnight. They doused the pile with water and removed pieces of scrap piece by piece.

A canteen truck was called in aid firefighters who remained at the scene overnight.

Firefighters were called to a business in Falls Township where a large scrap pile was ablaze.

Crews from around Lower Bucks County rushed to the fire off Steel Road on the former U.S. Steel site around 9:15 p.m. Flames were shooting from the scrap pile as firefighters worked to put down the flames.
Several additional fire departments were called to the scene as the blaze raged.
