Children’s clothing chain Gymboree will be closing their store in the Oxford Valley Mall in Middletown.
The store in the mall and another other location at the Penn’s Purchase outlet center in Central Bucks County will close at an unreleased date, according to a statement from the company.

Nationwide, 375 to 450 of 1,281 Gymboree stores will be closing as the company restructures after filing for bankruptcy protection in late spring. The California-based company has been saddled with debt as it competed against online shopping and fellow Oxford Valley Mall retailers Gap Kids and The Children’s Place.
This week, The Children’s Place told investors they had already seen an increase in sales and foot traffic at stores near Gymboree locations.
