Heavy rain caused flash flooding throughout Lower Bucks County.

From Langhorne to the Delaware River, flood-prone streets had water ponding on them as rain pounded the area Thursday evening.

Scattered power outages were reported in Bristol and Levittown. As of 8 p.m., about 900 customers remained in the dark.

In Bristol Borough, the Mill Street Parking Lot began to pool with water and part of the Waterfront Park looked like the nearby river. Down the road in Bristol Township’s Croydon section, branches were down and water flooded Cedar Avenue in the area of the railroad bridge.
