The roughly 30-year-old Burger King building at the corner of New Falls Road and Hood Boulevard in Falls Township has been torn down.
Family Dining Inc., the operator of the Burger King, torn down the 3,200-square-foot eatery with plans to construct a larger 3,900-square-foot Burger King restaurant and a smaller 1,800-square-foot independent café location. The other cafe concept was not released by company officials earlier this year.
