A large truck typically used to haul liquids snapped a utility pole in Bristol Township’s Croydon section.
The truck crashed into the side of the utility pole at River Road and Rosa Avenue mid-morning Tuesday.

As the truck was removed from the pole, firefighters from the Croydon and Third District fire companies stood by.
Fire police and police directed traffic during the road closure.
