The long-awaited completed dock project along Bristol’s waterfront is nearing its completion.
The official ribbon cutting will usher in a new era where Bristol Borough is again viewed as a maritime destination for people boating and traveling along the Delaware River.

A ribbon cutting is scheduled for June 29 at 7 p.m. The public is welcome to attend and inspect the borough’s new attraction that can accommodate roughly two-dozen recreational coats. Music and refreshments will be available for those who attend the event.
The $3 million project reached full funding in July of 2016 and is paid for with a mix of grant funds.ย The borough also received funding via grants obtained by State Sen. Tommy Tomlinson, Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick, State Rep. John Galloway, the Bucks County commissioners and the Grundy Foundation.
Work on the docks began in winter.
