Police said Monday that a local business owner is out $2,000 after an incident at a Falls Township automatic car was last week.
In an incident report, police said two men in a white pickup truck went to the Quality Car Wash along Trenton Road near the intersection of Bristol-Oxford Valley Road around 3:20 p.m. last Wednesday. By the time they left, the car wash owner said they caused $2,000 worth of damage and clean up.

The truck first went through the automatic car wash and ran into trouble after it did not comply with the rules, causing a problem with the equipment. The two men inside the pickup got out and appeared to manually move the automatic system, police said.
Once out of the bay, the truck moved to a manual car wash bay. At that point, one of the men grabbed a high-powered water and soap nozzle and sprayed it into a coin slot, police said.
The car wash owner told an officer that water and soap got into the vacuum system that collects coins and into a safe, causing damage and a mess.
