After years of Brian’s Harley Davidson sitting behind a used car lot at the corner of East Lincoln Highway and South Flowers Mill Road in Middletown, the motorcycle dealership and shop now owns the lot.
The half-acre lot has been acting as an overflow parking lot for the dealership since the sale of the former used car dealership was completed earlier this year. Brian’s Harley Davidson plans to update the way customers enter the property from Flowers Mill Road and improve parking areas.

“The plan is to keep the business coming and keeping the motorcycle community happy,” said Dan McCarthy, the general manager of the store.
Keeping the community happy and the dealership as a prominent destination has been a big priority for Brian’s Harley Davidson, McCarthy added.
The deal to secure the former used car lot has been talked about for years but didn’t happen until earlier this year.

While Brian’s Harley Davidson officials did not wish to speak of the financial terms of the deal to purchase the used car dealership property, county records show the sale was completed in January for $1.45 million. The property last changed hands in 1999 when the Francis and David Foster purchased it for $775,000. The price may seem high for a half-acre lot, but the land is prime commercial real estate just of I-95 and convenient to the Philadelphia and Trenton suburbs.
There are no firm current plans but some of the recently purchased property may be used forย an expansion as well in the future.

Brian’s Harley Davidson has been at its current location for 14 years and at its former location down East Lincoln Highway for years. The recent purchase of the used car lot coincides with the 32nd anniversary of the business.
The dealership held an event over the weekend to celebrate the business’ anniversary. Staff grilled up hot dogs and burgers Friday night.
McCarthy has been with the dealership for nearly 21 years and in that time, the dealership’s community involvement has been constant, he said. From donating to the St. Mary Medical Center to helping fund he Middletown Skate Park, being involved in the Lower Bucks County Community is important to Brian’s Harley Davidson.
