The county commission noted that Penndel’s walkable neighborhoods, adjacency to a railroad station, its location among several arterial traffic corridors and an existing foundation for commercial and retail makes it the perfect revitalization opportunity.
The borough, along with staff from the planning commission, is expected to host an open house on Monday, June 26, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the borough hall at 300 Bellevue Avenue.
According to Bucks County Planning Commission Senior Planner John Ives, interested business owners and citizens can come to the meeting at any time during the open house hours and will be offered a chance to provide comment on the initiative. The public will be able to hear a brief introduction and view displays and express comments and concerns to project staff and borough officials.
