Police are still working to investigate the fatal Memorial Day weekend hit-and-run at the intersection of Beaver Street and Route 13 between Bristol Borough and Bristol Township.
The investigation has sifted through leads and tips but still has come up empty. Sgt. Pete Faight of Bristol Borough and Officer Paul Shallcross of Bristol Township were joined by Bristol Township Officer Josh Bausch Wednesday morning at the scene of the crash to photograph the intersection in an attempt to make a computerized model of the crash site.

The process involved shutting down a few lanes at a time with the help of Bristol Township Fire Police and using a specialized camera to create a to-scale model of the entire intersection.
Faight and Shallcross spent a few hours on Wednesday morning making sure that they had a correct model of the intersection.
The crash, which killed 50-year-old Bristol Township resident Donna Anderson just before midnight on May 26, has still not resolved, but borough police hope to make a breakย in the case soon.

Police have narrowed down that the striking vehicle was a 2004 to 2009 model year Nissan Quest minivan that is dark in color. The minivan was missing a headlight assembly and a splash shield.
At the end of the day, Faight wants to remind locals to be careful and prompt when moving around the intersections along Route 13, especially at night.

“People need to understand that on these crosswalks, you can’t get distracted, because people can’t see you at night,” Faight said.
Shallcross has been doing scene reconstruction for eight years. He has been involved in over 800 crash scenes, has personally handled 16 scene reconstructions and been a part of more than 50 scene reconstructions.
“When you can show a jury exactly how something happens, that really helps in prosecution,” explained Shallcross. “It’s going to help to literally paint a picture for the jury.”
