Bristol Borough Council Set to Fill Vacancies

There are a few vacancies amongst varying Bristol Borough boards and commissions that the Council will seek to fill at their meeting this upcoming Monday night.

The topic was raised by Council President Ralph DiGuiseppe II at Monday night’s council work session. Three appointments will be voted on on Monday night’s regular council meeting.

There are vacancies in the Civil Service Commission, the Environmental Advisory Committee and the Zoning Hearing Board.

The vacancy in the Civil Service Commission appeared when current Mayor Joe Saxton resigned on November 7. The Environmental Advisory Committee vacancy opened when Don West passed away, and the the vacancy in the Zoning Hearing Board opened when Paul Marchese resigned on May 11.

The upcoming meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Borough Hall.
