A federal law enforcement official released more information Friday on the previous day’s operation carried out along the 20 block of Green Lane in Bristol Township.
James Burke, assistant chief of the U.S. Marshal’s Philadelphia office, told LevittownNow.com that Brandan Callum, 18, of Philadelphia, was arrested after an intense search of his mother’s home along Green Lane Thursday afternoon.

Members of the U.S. Marshal Service Fugitive Task Force developed information Thursday that Callum was in Bristol Township. They mobilized their team and police from several Bucks County departments, Burke said.
An initial search didn’t turn up Callum, but he was later found hiding in a piece of hollowed out bedroom furniture, Burke said.
Callum was wanted on a homicide warrant connected to an April 23 murder in the 6900 block of Hegerman Street in the Tacony section of Philadelphia. The victim was a 20-year-old man who was found dead at the scene.

Burke explained that a Bensalem K-9 unit was brought in and helped lead to the discovery of Callum.
Bristol Township police Lt. John Godzieba said no injuries were reported.

Parents in the Bristol Township School District were alerted of the incident, but schools were not locked down.
Green Lane was closed between Route 13 and Runway Road while police searched the home.
