A Bristol Township woman who was caught selling heroin while on federal supervision for drug dealing was sentenced Wednesday to serve two to four years in state prison.
Janet Schonewolf, 50, of Croydon, pleaded guilty in late March to charges of possession with intent to deliver.

Police had executed a search warrant in October and seized 310 bags of heroin, 45 Xanax pills, drug paraphernalia and $2,532 in cash from her home on Buchanan Avenue in Croydon.
According to court record, Schonewolf told investigators she had been selling heroin for seven to eight months to seven different customers several times a week. She did however deny that she was selling Xanax pills, stating to law enforcement that she received them as payment for heroin.
“Selling heroin when it is becoming an epidemic, you are contributing to that,” said Bucks County Common Pleas Court Judge Wallace H. Bateman Jr. “There is really nothing mitigating about your case. It is really troubling to me that you would be selling (controlled substances) when you were under supervision for the same thing.”

At the time of her arrest, Schonewolf was still under federal supervision for a conviction in Utah for possessing methamphetamine with intent to deliver. She told Judge Bateman that she sold drugs to support her family, including her 12-year-old son.
