On Tuesday around 8:30 p.m., Bristol Borough officers were dispatched to the Dollar Tree at 200 Commerce Circle in Bristol for the report of a robbery that had just occurred.

The perpetrator – later identified as Robinson – was described by dispatch as a tall and thin black male, who was wearing a gray sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

According to court documents, the caller told police that Robinson entered the store, handed the cashier a handwritten note demanding everything in the cash register. When the cashier said no, Robinson told them they don’t want to “waste [their] life over some money”. The cashier responded by opening the cash register drawer and Robinson reached over and grabbed $70 before fleeing the store on foot.

Court record shows that as Robinson fled, customers in the store attempted to restrain him. Robinson then reportedly bit one of the customers on the right side of his chest before he was subdued by police and taken into custody.

Robinson was found with $60 in his possession.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $50,000 bail.
