Lane restrictions go into effect this week along Route 13 in Bristol Township as a major paving project moves forward.
PennDOT officials said nighttime lane restrictions will take place on Route 13 between Newportville Road and Veterans Highway (Route 413) from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday this week.

The work is part of a $3 million PennDOT project to resurface 6.7 miles of Route 13 between Veterans Highway and Bensalem’s border with Philadelphia. PennDOT said they are planning to mill and resurface that entire stretch of roadway.
Philadelphia-based James D. Morrissey Inc. has been hired to work on the project.
Morrissey is the same contractor that led the massive Route 13 overhaul through Bristol Borough, Bristol Township and Tullytown. The project cost more than $36 million and was completed behind schedule.
