Bicyclist Struck Along Woodbourne Road

A person on a bicycle was struck by vehicle Monday evening.

The incident happened around 8:45 p.m. along Woodbourne Road, not far from the intersection with East Lincoln Highway, and in front of the Middletown Shopping Center.

Middletown police were on the scene investigating the crash, and the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad took the injured bicyclist to the hospital.
