Lt. Hank Ward said the 32-year-old female driver of a dark-gray vehicle that slammed head-on into a blue sedan with a 31-year-old father from Morrisville and his 3-year-old daughter inside may face charges. He explained that investigators found evidence from the 32-year-old Rocky Mount, North Carolina, woman’s car that was sent to the crime lab for additional testing.

The woman was scheduled for more surgery Tuesday. In addition, the 31-year-old Morrisville man suffered serious leg injuries and was set to have surgery Wednesday. His 3-year-old daughter suffered a broken arm and various other injuries but has been released from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

The head-on crash happened around 1:25 p.m. Monday on Lincoln Highway in front of the Woodcrest Apartments.
