A serious crash that left three people, including a young child, with injuries was being investigated by Falls Township police Monday afternoon.

The head-on crash happened at 1:25 p.m. along Lincoln Highway in front of the Woodcrest Apartments in Fairless Hills.
Police said firefighters had to use cutting tools to free drivers from both vehicles and a 3-year-old child who was in the back seat of the one vehicle.
Lt. Hank Ward said the two drivers had “critical injuries” and the child had “serious injuries.” Medics transported all the patients to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown.

Investigators were spotted collecting evidence from the crash site, talking to nearby residents and mapping the wreck.
Fire police blocked Lincoln Highway between 225 Lincoln Properties and North Olds Boulevard.
