UPDATED: 21 Year Old Killed In Easter Crash

UPDATED: 8:25 p.m., Sunday: 

Police said that a 21-year-old man from Bristol Township’s Croydon section was killed in an Easter Sunday wreck.

The 21 year old was traveling in a 1997 Honda Civic northbound on Route 13 when he collided with a 2011 Ford Focus driven by a 32-year-old Fairless Hills man who had an 8 year old girl in the vehicle with him at the intersection with Haines Road in Bristol Township, police said.

The Honda split into two pieces after contacting a utility pole outside the McDonald’s, police said.

The 8 year old was taken to Lower Bucks Hospital with minor injuries, and the 32-year-old man was unhurt, police said.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation as of Sunday night.

One person was killed in a crash on Easter afternoon.

The crash happened at 2:15 p.m. Sunday outside the McDonald’s at Route 13 and Haines Road in Bristol Township.

Two vehicles were involved and a Honda was ripped apart. The driver of the Honda was ejected and killed, officials said.

Edgely Fire Company Chief Joe Cavanaugh said the other injuries were minor.

The Honda ripped apart after striking a utility pole, the chief said.

Police accident investigetors were called to the scene.

Levittown Fire Company No. 2 responded along with the Edgely Fire Company and Bristol Township and Tullytown fire police.
