Police in Morrisville Borough are looking for a woman who tried to rob a shop on East Bridge Street.
The woman passed the clerk at the United Cut Rate store a handwritten note that read: “keep your hands on the counter and nobody will get hurt,” police said.

While the clerk called 9-1-1, the woman fled the store on foot without making off with any money, police said.
The woman possibly fled in an older-model Ford Explorer SUV that may have had New Jersey licence plates.
