Police Chief Joseph Bartorilla said it wasn’t entirely clear what happened but several parked cars were struck along Heartwood Road before the pickup truck struck the home.

There were no obvious signs of a medical condition or impairment at the scene but those avenues will be further probed, the chief said.

No one inside the home was hurt and the condition of the pickup truck driver was not immediately clear.

The truck caused damage to a bedroom on the side of the two-story home, Assistant Fire Marshal Ken Richards said.

The crash happened before 8 p.m.

“They’re actually not going to be staying [in the house] tonight,” Richards said.
