The Oxford Valley Mall will host a very special opportunity this weekend for children with special needs.
The event at the Middletown mall will allow children who require a subdued environment to take part in the Bunny Photo Experience. The event is part of mall owner Simon’s Caring Bunny program with assistance from Autism Speaks and AbilityPath.org.

The Caring Bunny will visit the Sears court at the mall Sunday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
“Offering a safe and secure place, the set will be designed to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs of kids with all abilities. Many steps will be taken to reduce sensory triggers, creating a more comforting environment for children’s visit with the Bunny, including turning off in-mall music and escalators, dimming the lights and using a numbering system to eliminate queue lines.,” according to a mall spokesperson.
