With a winter storm now predicted to bring more than a foot of snow to the region, local municipalities are declaring snow emergencies ahead of the first flakes.

Bristol Borough
No declaration has been made. However, officials said no parking on Mill Street and the 100 Block of Radcliffe Street until at least 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Bristol Township

Bristol Township has declared a snow emergency from 8 p.m. Monday until 6 a.m. Wednesday, according to Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito. Click here to read more about Bristol Township’s snow removal policies.
Falls Township

Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito said a snow emergency would begin at 8 p.m. Monday and expire at 6 a.m. Wednesday. All residents are required to move vehicles, boats and trailers from the street and into driveways. The fire marshal cautioned residents not to use generators inside if there is a power outage. Anyone with questions is asked to call 215-949-9000 ext. 255.
Hulmeville Borough
No declaration has been made.

Langhorne Borough
Mayor Joe Taylor declared a snow emergency in the borough starting at 9 p.m. Monday and ending at noon Wednesday.

Penndel Borough
From borough officials:
Due to the impending storm, Penndel Borough requests that residents remove all vehicles from borough streets to allow the plows to clear the roadways. For those with no off street parking, move vehicles to the odd side of the street. After the plows have cleared the even side, move vehicles to the even side. Sidewalks must be cleared within 12 hours of snow ceasing to fall. Please check on your neighbors, particularly the elderly and disabled. Please bring your pets indoors.

Middletown Township
Fire Marshal Jim McGuire said the township has declared a snow emergency starting at 10 p.m. Monday. Authorities said vehicles parked in the roadway one hour after snow begins falling and 12 hours after it has ended are subject to tickets, per township ordinance.
Tullytown Borough

A snow emergency has been declared from 10 p.m. Monday until 7 p.m. Wednesday. All vehicles must be removed from borough streets during the snow emergency.
