A resident helped stop a fire Wednesday night in Falls Township.
The fire was reported on Kennedy Drive in the Breezy Acres Trailer Park around 9:10 p.m.

A quick-thinking neighbor spotted the flames and grabbed their fire extinguisher to put down the small blaze outside a mobile home, Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito said.
The fire has been ruled accidental and started in an outdoor area where a resident smokes near the home, Dippolito said.
The fire marshal said the fire could have been much worse if the neighbor wouldn’t have seen it and stopped it. A woman with limited mobility lives in the mobile home and likely would have had trouble escaping if the flames spread.
